The RM-500 & RM-1000 roller mixers are ideal for a gentle mixing action. They are made up of a number of motor driven rollers which rotate at a fixed speed. The samples are placed between these rollers in tubes or bottles, they can then be gently rolled. During the rolling action a tilting action is also applied. The rollers are gently raised and lowered at one end. This increases the effectiveness of the mixing whilst still providing a gentle mixing action. Roller mixers are Ideal for mixing blood samples, liquid-solid suspensions and viscous substances especially where minimum aeration is required. Can also be used to assist with de-frosting samples.
